Located directly across the VooStore courtyard, the space was treated as a canvas with which to tell the FRAMA story in a new context, focusing on simplicity, craftsmanship, and honest materials.
The temporary installation, made up of FRAMA’s collection including furniture, home objects, lighting, and self care, committed to using craftsmanship as its only ornamentation. This approach appealed to contemporary taste while confidently referencing the past, and offered a space to interact with FRAMA’s most-loved pieces in the way they’re meant to be: over coffee, food, and conversations that inspire FRAMA’s continued processes.
To celebrate FRAMA’s time in Berlin, an intimate dinner was hosted by FRAMA and VooStore at Chipperfield Kantine—the canteen extension to David Chipperfield Architects studio, and an appropriate space to celebrate the porous bounds of design. Chef Zsuzsanna Toth created a family style menu for the event, fresh from her launch of A Tavola Collective in Milan with designers Benni Allan and Charlotte Taylor, as part of Salone del Mobile.
