Developed by Chiara Barla, head chef and curator at Frama’s Apotek 57 in Copenhagen, her Ginger and Turmeric Milk recipe makes a vitalizing addition to colder spring days.

What you Need
Makes 2 servings
600g almond milk
1 tbsp. turmeric
1 tbsp. fresh grated ginger
2 cinnamon sticks
8 cardamom pods
1 vanilla pod
5 peppercorns
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. dried chamomile
2 tbsp. honey (sub maple syrup if vegan)
Sea salt and cinnamon to serve

Combine all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a gentle boil. Strain the milk and serve with a sprinkle of sea salt and cinnamon.
